Hello, my pseudonym-name as artist is LORVS. I was kris krossing schools from college till technical schools... couldn't found any true ambition till i started art school St-Lucas...jumped to graffic basics on Higro (now Vizo Mariakerke). Now,after a long period of job-hopping,i'm satisfied in restaurator of second hand furniture as part-time job. During the long time job-hopping,i went for 7 years of art academy in Wetteren Belgium in education for traditional painter. The last 3 years i founded my individual specialisation.iworked whit different medium from canvas oil paint, acryl paint, paper collage,mix media,mostly combined whit esoterical mystic pieces of text or poetry. my art can be subscibed as metafysic, surreal neo-romantic or more suggestic abstract dream-scapes. Some of them have an ethereal sphere in a feeeric or mythological context. I like the combination of ancient or Gothic realmings to futuristic worlds, science fiction... from the roots by old Gothic ruins till the far-out branches of science fiction and fantasy. Mostly it comes from my own imagination,sometimes inspired on more eclectic films, underground music scene... new wave,future pop,punk,post-punk,avant garde,exotic,world-music,neo-celt,medieaval,hard-rock,heavy metal,etc.
